European champions Portugal welcome Hungary to the Estádio da Luz on Saturday night, as they look to keep the pressure up on Switzerland in their World Cup qualifying group.

Having lost to the Swiss on the opening round of qualifiers, Fernando Santos’ side have won three on the trot against Andorra, Faroe Islands and Latvia and can ill-afford a slip up against Hungary, who are right on their heels in Group B.

The Magyars are just two points behind the Seleção and a win for Bernd Storck’s side would see them rise to second in the group and put a massive dent in Portugal’s attempts to top the group and secure automatic qualification for the World Cup.

Of course, these two sides played out a humdinger in the group stages at Euro 2016 last summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo digging Portugal out of a hole twice to secure a 3-3 draw in Lyon, securing their progress to the knockout stages on their eventual journey to winning the tournament.
