England were forced to snatch an injury-time equaliser to hold Scotland to a 2-2 draw at Hampton on Saturday afternoon.
A dire first half was more than made up for in the second with four goals late in the game spicing up the end to the match.
Harry Kane missed a few good chances to score in the first-half, with Dele Alli also seeing a shot brilliantly saved by Craig Gordon from close range.
The visitors took the lead in the second half through substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but went behind after Leigh Griffiths scored two superb free-kicks.
England managed to secure a point, though, in the 93rd minute with captain Harry Kane meeting a cross at the back post to volley past Gordon.
Gareth Southgate’s side had not conceded a goal in qualifying coming into the game but Joe Hart was easily beaten by the two free-kicks.
So, here are our England player ratings from the game…
Joe Hart: 4
Should have saved both free-kicks. Had little else to do. Very poor.
Kyle Walker: 7
Solid game from Walker, defended well when needed and put some decent crosses into the box.
Chris Smalling: 5
Clumsy on the ball and into a tackle. Just doesn’t look comfortable in possession. Big and strong but not athletic enough.
Gary Cahill: 6
Solid performance from Cahill. Despite his critics, he is a good defender and uses the ball well. Clumsy foul for the first free-kick that was scored, but it was an honest mistake.
Ryan Bertrand: 7
Good display from Bertrand. He got up and down the left-flank very well all afternoon and sent some excellent crosses into the area.
Jake Livermore 7
Did his job well. Swept up in front of the defence and looked to play forward when he could.
Eric Dier: 5
Went missing in the second half and gave the ball away too many times. Very poor performance from the Spurs man.
Marcus Rashford: 6
Rashford tried when he was in, you can give him that. Apart from trying, he didn’t do much else. Loads of pace but lacks experience and intelligence.
Dele Alli: 5
One of Alli’s worst games in an England shirt. Nothing worked for him. He had a couple of good chances to score but failed to convert.
Adam Lallana: 7
One of the few attacking players that looked good from the start. Lallana is a consistent performer from England with his quick feet and creative passing.
However, he should have scored when he headed over the bar from 12-yards out.
Harry Kane: 7
He may have missed a few chances in the first-half but made up for that with a good volleyed finish for the equaliser in added time.
