England travel to face France on Tuesday night in an international friendly to cap off the week.
Gareth Southgate’s men held Scotland to a 2-2 draw at Hampden Park at the weekend, scoring a 93rd-minute equaliser.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain came off the bench to open the scoring for England, with his left-footed shot finding a way past Craig Gordon.
However, a quickfire free-kick double from Leigh Griffiths put Scotland in front.
It was then up to captain Harry Kane to come up with the goods in added time as he volleyed home to earn a point for his country.
Southgate now has to select his starting line-up for the clash with France tomorrow. He has already told us one player who will be starting!
He has revealed that Tom Heaton – of Burnley – will be lining up in goal, with Jack Butland to come on in the second half.
Here is how we expect the rest of the side to look…
Tom Heaton
As we already know…
Kieran Trippier
After Walker played against Scotland, I expect Trippier to be given his chance in an England shirt on Tuesday.
Phil Jones
As with Trippier, Jones should come in as rotation.
Gary Cahill
You need a bit of continuity in the team and that starts here. Cahill is the best centre back England have, should be starting.
Ryan Bertrand
Same as Cahill, no need to change full XI. Keep Bertrand after a good performance against Scotland.
Jake Livermore
With the lack of central midfielders in the squad, Livermore should retain his place.
Eric Dier
Same as previous, Dier will start.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
After scoring against Scotland, I would be more shocked if he wasn’t starting. Deserves his chance from the start.
Dele Alli
He was poor against Scotland, but he is one of the most talented players in the squad. I’d give him another chance to show what he can do.
Raheem Sterling
After missing out on a starting spot versus Scotland, Sterling will surely be in the starting line-up against France.
Harry Kane (C)
Captaining the side, Kane has to start. Best player in the team.
