England made a significant step towards qualification for the 2018 World Cup against Slovakia, as they came back from a goal down to win 2-1.
Gareth Southgate made just a few changes to the side that beat Malta 4-0 away from home on Friday, but there were several positional alterations made by the manager.
Slovakia took the lead early on, though, and stunned the relatively empty Wembley Stadium. Stanislav Lobotka latched onto a through ball and poked beyond Joe Hart, handing the visitors a 1-0 advantage.
However, Eric Dier managed to convert a corner from Marcus Rashford to level proceedings heading into the interval.
Rashford himself then managed to net the second just before the hour mark, atoning for his earlier errors with a well-taken finish to give England the lead and ultimately the victory.
