Gareth Southgate’s England have been drawn against the Netherlands in the semi-final of the UEFA Nations League.

The draw was made today and the Three Lions have now discovered their fate after making the final four.

England’s 2-1 victory over Croatia in matchday six of the UEFA Nations League secured their place in the semi-final of the competition.

The game is due to take place on June 6 at Estadio D. Afonso Henriques, with both teams battling for a spot in the final, where they will either meet Portugal or Switzerland, who meet one day prior.

England will take hope from their previous meeting with the Netherlands back in March.

A goal from Jesse Lingard gave the Three Lions a narrow victory in Amsterdam, but Ronald Koeman’s men are much improved since then.

The former Everton boss has several talented young prospects on his hand, with many tipping the Dutch to enjoy greater success in the coming years.
